Hands-On Salesforce Support Role

Join a global investment organization in a hands-on Salesforce support role.

Our client is a well-established global investment organization with an international presence and a sophisticated technology environment. The business is looking for an experienced Salesforce professional to join its IT function in New York and provide high-quality platform support to users across multiple offices.

The IT Systems Analyst - Salesforce will provide day-to-day Salesforce support, administration and technical troubleshooting while helping drive continued improvements to the platform. Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide Salesforce application support, troubleshooting system failures, discrepancies and user issues.
  • Perform Salesforce administration and configuration to support users' day-to-day activities.
  • Create and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues across Salesforce, integrations and connected applications.
  • Carry out root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions to recurring issues.
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.
  • Identify, cleanse and load datasets into Salesforce while maintaining strong data quality and governance standards.
  • Manage incidents and service requests in line with established IT processes.
  • Partner with internal technology teams and external vendors to resolve issues and support enhancement requests.
  • Conduct configuration enhancements and deployments throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Provide ad hoc training and guidance to Salesforce users.

The successful candidate will be an experienced, hands-on Salesforce professional who can confidently support users while troubleshooting technical issues and improving the platform. You should have:

  • 3-5+ years of Salesforce experience in a Support Analyst, Systems Analyst or similar hands-on role.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud.
  • Excellent understanding of Salesforce configuration, Flow Builder, validation rules, security and permissions, reporting and dashboards.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce CRM best practices, data governance and data quality.
  • Experience troubleshooting Salesforce technical issues end-to-end, including integrations and connected applications.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and delivering Salesforce solutions.
  • Knowledge of permission sets, profiles, flows, triggers, workflow rules and Salesforce Lightning components.
  • Experience with bulk data loading using APEX Data Loader or similar ETL tools.
  • Salesforce certifications are highly desirable, including Platform Administrator and Platform App Builder.
  • Experience within an investment or financial services environment is beneficial but not required.

Location: Midtown Manhattan, New York. Working pattern: This is a hybrid role requiring candidates to work onsite three days per week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Candidates must be comfortable committing to this schedule. Interview process: Please note that all interviews will be conducted face-to-face at the client's Midtown Manhattan office.
