Role Summary

  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Design and support Salesforce-based solutions.
  • Manage system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
  • Ensure Salesforce platforms align with business objectives.

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

  • Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder workshops and interviews.
  • Create:

    • Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
    • Use Cases

    • Process Flows
  • Perform current-state and future-state process analysis.
  • Conduct gap analysis.
  • Translate business requirements into Salesforce functional specifications.
  • Facilitate requirement workshops and JAD sessions.

Salesforce Solution Design

  • Configure Salesforce:
    • Objects and fields
    • Page layouts
    • Validation rules
    • Workflows
    • Flows
    • Reports and dashboards
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, and Architects.
  • Support:
    • Sales Cloud
    • Service Cloud
    • Experience Cloud
    • Custom Salesforce applications
  • Recommend process improvements and Salesforce platform optimizations.

Data & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards.
  • Define and track KPIs.
  • Perform data analysis using:
    • Salesforce Reports
    • SOQL
    • SQL
    • Integrated analytics tools
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance.
  • Support data migration, cleansing, and validation activities.
  • Work with Data Loader and other Salesforce data-management tools.

Testing & Deployment

  • Prepare test scenarios and test cases.
  • Develop UAT plans.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users.
  • Validate system changes before production deployment.
  • Support release management and change management activities.

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with:
    • Sales
    • Marketing

  • Serve as the liaison between business and technical teams.
  • Provide end-user training.
  • Create user and system documentation.
