Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud administration experience - MUST
A direct client of Robert Half is completing a year-long migration from Salesforce NPSP to Nonprofit Cloud and needs an experienced Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud Administrator to support the new environment following go-live.
The organization has already completed a soft launch and is entering its final month on NPSP, with full cutover scheduled for October 15. This will be a dedicated Nonprofit Cloud administration role focused on platform ownership, user support, security, and ongoing optimization after go-live.
Day-to-Day:
- Administer and support the Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud environment
- Manage users, roles, permission sets, sharing rules, and access controls
- Support fundraising, gift processing, recurring donations, donor management, grants, and case management
- Troubleshoot user issues and resolve functional or configuration-related problems
- Maintain reports, dashboards, workflows, and platform configurations
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs and recommend solutions
- Support user adoption and help the organization transition from NPSP processes
- Clearly communicate why access may be more restricted under the new security model
- Reinforce need-to-know access policies while helping users adjust to the cultural shift
- Identify opportunities to optimize the platform following go-live
Musts:
- Hands-on Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud administration experience
- Strong understanding of the Nonprofit Cloud data model and functionality
- Experience supporting nonprofit fundraising and donor-management processes
- Knowledge of gift processing, recurring donations, grants, and case management
- Strong Salesforce security experience, including granular permissions and access controls
- Ability to communicate technical and security decisions to nontechnical users
- Strong ownership, troubleshooting, and stakeholder-support skills
Plus:
- Previous NPSP-to-Nonprofit Cloud migration experience
- Experience supporting a newly implemented environment during post-go-live stabilization
- Background in user training, change management, or adoption support
- Salesforce Administrator or related Salesforce certifications
