Title: Salesforce Net Zero Cloud Engineer / Architect
Duration: 12 Months
Location: USA [Remote -Hybrid / Onsite] - Pacific Time preferred
Job Type: Temporary Assignment
Work Type: Remote -Hybrid / Onsite
Job Description is below
A hands-on Salesforce Net Zero Cloud Engineer / Architect responsible for production support, sustainability data operations, solution architecture, integrations, and continuous feature development, acting as the technical owner connecting business requirements with reliable, scalable platform delivery.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Salesforce Net Zero Cloud Engineer / Architect to serve as the technical owner and primary engineering partner for the business across the ongoing operation and evolution of Salesforce Net Zero Cloud.
This role combines application support, data operations, solution architecture, and hands-on feature delivery. The individual will work closely with business, sustainability, data, integration, and technology teams using the latest in AI tooling to resolve Salesforce production issues, maintain reliable sustainability data operations, translate emerging requirements into scalable technical solutions, and continuously enhance the Net Zero Cloud platform.
Responsibilities:
Production Support & Platform Operations
Serve as the primary technical support resource for Salesforce Net Zero Cloud and related business processes.
Investigate and triage application, configuration, data, integration, and user-reported issues.
Coordinate escalation of complex platform or integration issues to appropriate engineering, Salesforce, or upstream system teams.
Perform root-cause analysis and recommend durable fixes rather than relying on recurring manual remediation.
Support release management, testing, deployment, and post-production validation for platform enhancements.
Data Operations & Quality:
Own day-to-day technical operations supporting the ingestion, processing, validation, and reconciliation of sustainability and emissions-related data.
Monitor automated integrations and support controlled manual data-loading processes where required.
Investigate data-quality exceptions, failed processing, incorrect mappings, calculation issues, and reconciliation discrepancies.
Partner with business and data owners to improve data-quality controls and operational processes.
Support complex sustainability datasets including energy, utilities, emissions factors, organizational data, supplier data, and other Scope 1, 2, and 3 inputs.
Solution Architecture:
Translate business and sustainability requirements into scalable Salesforce Net Zero Cloud solution designs.
Design solutions across Salesforce configuration, data architecture, integration patterns, automation, security, and reporting.
Evaluate requirements against existing platform capabilities and recommend configuration, customization, integration, or process changes.
Maintain architectural consistency and minimize unnecessary technical debt as the platform evolves.
Produce technical designs, data mappings, solution documentation, and implementation specifications.
Feature Engineering & Continuous Improvement:
Design and deliver new Net Zero Cloud capabilities and enhancements based on evolving business requirements.
Configure and extend Salesforce capabilities using appropriate declarative and programmatic approaches.
Develop prototypes and technical solutions to rapidly validate new requirements with business users.
Support testing, defect remediation, deployment, and stabilization of new functionality.
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve platform reliability, usability, and scalability
Required Qualifications:
Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce platform architecture, configuration, and development.
Working Pacific Standard / Daylight Time (US)
Experience implementing, supporting, or enhancing Salesforce Net Zero Cloud / Sustainability Cloud solutions.
Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, security, automation, integrations, APIs, reporting, and release management.
Experience troubleshooting production applications and diagnosing issues across application, integration, and data layers.
Strong capabilities in data analysis, data validation, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture and executable engineering solutions.
Experience working with integration technologies and enterprise data pipelines.
Comfortable operating as both an architect and hands-on engineer, taking solutions from problem identification through production delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of sustainability and carbon accounting concepts, including Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions.
Experience working with energy and utility data, emissions factors, organizational hierarchies, and sustainability calculations.
Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, SOQL, APIs, and Salesforce integration patterns.
Familiarity with ETL/iPaaS technologies and enterprise data platforms.
Salesforce architecture, development, or Net Zero Cloud certifications.
Experience leveraging AI-assisted engineering and data-analysis tools to accelerate troubleshooting, development, testing, and documentation.
What Success Looks Like
The successful candidate will become the technical bridge between the business and the Net Zero Cloud platform, ensuring that:
Production issues are rapidly diagnosed and resolved.
Sustainability data operations remain reliable and auditable.
New business requirements are translated into scalable technical solutions.
Architecture remains sustainable as integrations, datasets, and functionality expand.
The platform continuously evolves through targeted feature enhancements and automation

To keep pace with global market demands, TekWissen keeps its finger on the pulse of change. Our organized approach to guiding a project from its inception to closure. Managing projects is becoming more and more important as we enter the digital era. To cope with the pace that this transition demands, a method is required to manage projects so they can yield quality work, while incorporating efficient use of time and resources.
Project involves identifying which quality standards are relevant to the project and determining how to satisfy them.
It is important to perform quality planning during the Planning Process and should be done alongside the other project planning processes because changes in the quality will likely require changes in the other planning processes, or the desired product quality may require a detailed risk analysis of an identified problem. It is important to remember that quality should be planned, designed, then built in, not added on after the fact.
Capabilities and accomplishments in one TekWissen business enhance the opportunity for success in the others. Put simply, TekWissen's unique combination of attributes promotes success.
