Title: Salesforce Developer

Location: Remote

Role Description:
Client is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join their growing Salesforce development and implementation team. This is a remote first, with opportunities to work from a local client office where available. It is a mid-level role with meaningful growth potential, ideal for someone who has solid hands-on Salesforce development experience and wants to deepen their skills in solution design, integration, business analysis, AI-enabled Salesforce capabilities, and enterprise data platforms.

Client is looking for someone who is technically capable, communicative, curious, and comfortable working in a lean team where priorities can shift. You do not need to have independently owned architecture, release processes, or enterprise data systems, but you should be eager to learn, comfortable taking responsibility for assigned work, and interested in growing into broader solution ownership over time.

In this role, you will work directly with a Senior Salesforce Developer / Solution Architect to deliver enhancements, integrations, automation, and production support across client's Salesforce environment. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, internal technology teams, and offshore development resources to help translate business needs into reliable, scalable Salesforce solutions.

Responsibilities:
" Develop and configure Salesforce solutions using Flow, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura and/or Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
" Build and support integrations between Salesforce and other business systems using REST APIs.
" Support technical Salesforce data migration work, including data mapping, transformation, validation, error resolution, and data loads from external source systems.
" Work with a Senior Salesforce Developer / Solution Architect to design scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions that follow platform best practices.
" Partner with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, understand process needs, and translate business problems into actionable technical work.
" Collaborate with offshore development resources by helping define requirements, reviewing deliverables, testing functionality, and communicating issues clearly.
" Support configuration and release management using Git, Bitbucket/GitHub, Salesforce CLI, Change Sets, and related deployment tools.
" Follow established development, testing, documentation, and release management practices, while contributing ideas for process improvement.
" Support Salesforce development and data work in a manner consistent with internal controls, data governance, privacy, security, and compliance expectations.
" Maintain configuration and technical documentation in the team's knowledge base.
" Provide Level 3 support for production issues, including troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and coordination with business and technical teams.
" Build familiarity with client s broader data and automation ecosystem, including AI-enabled Salesforce capabilities, Salesforce Data Cloud / Data 360, Snowflake, reporting, and analytics tools.

Required Qualifications:
" Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
" 3+ years of Salesforce experience.
" 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components, Aura and/or Visualforce, Flow, and Salesforce configuration.
" 4+ years of total experience in software development, business systems, information technology, or a related technical environment.
" Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, relational data concepts, and systems integration fundamentals.
" Experience developing or supporting integrations using REST APIs.
" Experience with source control and release management tools such as Git, Bitbucket/GitHub, Salesforce CLI, Salesforce Change Sets, or similar deployment technologies.
" Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
" Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to ask questions, learn the business, and grow into broader solution ownership.

Job Description:
" Exposure to AI-enabled applications, data warehousing concepts, or enterprise data platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
" Salesforce Platform Developer I certification; Platform Developer II or JavaScript Developer is a plus.
" Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud/Data 360, Snowflake, or similar data warehouse/data Lakehouse platforms.
" Exposure to Salesforce AI capabilities, automation tools, Einstein features, agent/copilot-style tools, or AI-assisted development practices.
" Experience with SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, CRM Analytics, Power Query, or other analytics/reporting tools.
" Experience with Agile Scrum or Kanban SDLCs and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
" Experience in financial services, wealth management, or Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
" Experience working with offshore or distributed development teams.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
This role is ideal for a hands-on Salesforce developer who can analyze business needs, communicate clearly, coordinate with distributed resources, and grow into broader solution ownership over time. The successful candidate does not need to be an architect already but should be capable of growing into architecture-adjacent work with guidance and mentorship.
