Job Description:Role Overview
The team is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to support the development, customization, integration, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise-scale Salesforce applications. This person should be a strong hands-on developer who can build solutions using Apex and Lightning, integrate Salesforce with other systems, and contribute to automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
The contractor will work within a cross-functional Scrum environment supporting iterative application releases and integrations across the Salesforce ecosystem. The strongest candidates will bring deep technical Salesforce development experience, hands-on Lightning expertise, and a proven background integrating Salesforce with external applications and services.
Top Three Must-Have Skills- Salesforce Development
- 5 to 7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
- Strong experience with Apex, Visualforce, triggers, batch Apex, Salesforce APIs, and Force.com
- Ability to develop, customize, implement, and support enterprise Salesforce applications
- Lightning Development
- Hands-on experience building applications using Lightning
- Experience with Lightning components, Lightning events, the Lightning Framework, and Salesforce Lightning Design System
- Strong Apex coding skills
- Salesforce Integrations
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems
- Hands-on knowledge of REST, SOAP, Bulk, and Streaming APIs
- Experience with MuleSoft, ETL processes, or comparable third-party integration tools is highly valuable

- Recent, hands-on Salesforce development rather than primarily administrative or declarative experience
- Strong Apex coding ability with production-level examples
- Direct experience building within the Lightning framework
- Complex systems integration experience using multiple API types
- Experience working in a structured CI/CD environment
- Ownership of technical analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
- Effective collaboration with developers, product partners, and other stakeholders in an Agile or Scrum environment
