    Job Description:
    Role Overview
    The team is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to support the development, customization, integration, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise-scale Salesforce applications. This person should be a strong hands-on developer who can build solutions using Apex and Lightning, integrate Salesforce with other systems, and contribute to automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
    The contractor will work within a cross-functional Scrum environment supporting iterative application releases and integrations across the Salesforce ecosystem. The strongest candidates will bring deep technical Salesforce development experience, hands-on Lightning expertise, and a proven background integrating Salesforce with external applications and services.
    Top Three Must-Have Skills
    1. Salesforce Development
      • 5 to 7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
      • Strong experience with Apex, Visualforce, triggers, batch Apex, Salesforce APIs, and Force.com
      • Ability to develop, customize, implement, and support enterprise Salesforce applications
    2. Lightning Development
      • Hands-on experience building applications using Lightning
      • Experience with Lightning components, Lightning events, the Lightning Framework, and Salesforce Lightning Design System
      • Strong Apex coding skills
    3. Salesforce Integrations
      • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems
      • Hands-on knowledge of REST, SOAP, Bulk, and Streaming APIs
      • Experience with MuleSoft, ETL processes, or comparable third-party integration tools is highly valuable
    The intake form stack-ranks Salesforce development first, Lightning experience second, and integration experience third.

    Additional Technical Requirements
    • Experience contributing to the design, automation, deployment, and support of large-scale technical infrastructure
    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build processes
    • Experience developing web services and API-based solutions
    • Ability to support integrations across the native Salesforce ecosystem
    • Experience working with continuous integration, automation, and deployment processes
    • Ability to collaborate with a cross-functional Scrum team through iterative release cycles
    • Experience maintaining and enhancing Salesforce Service Cloud applications
    Preferred Qualification
    • Salesforce Platform Developer II certification preferred
    Candidate Profile to Target
    Prioritize candidates who can demonstrate:
    • Recent, hands-on Salesforce development rather than primarily administrative or declarative experience
    • Strong Apex coding ability with production-level examples
    • Direct experience building within the Lightning framework
    • Complex systems integration experience using multiple API types
    • Experience working in a structured CI/CD environment
    • Ownership of technical analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
    • Effective collaboration with developers, product partners, and other stakeholders in an Agile or Scrum environment
