As a Salesforce Developer Contractor, you will be responsible for developing and customizing Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements and improve system functionality.Developing and customizing Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.Integrating Salesforce with other systems and platforms to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.Creating and maintaining technical documentation for Salesforce solutions, including code comments and design documents.Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Salesforce applications and integrations.Collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise.

As an Application Engineer on the Sales Automation Engineering team, you'll implement key features on our CRM tech stack (including Salesforce), integrating with internal and external platforms. This role helps power Sales & Support in acquisition, onboarding, and expansion directly impacting user growth, revenue, and global expansion.

What You'll Do

Build and optimize Salesforce functionality for B2B teams

Build and configure APIs with internal and third-party cloud solutions

Design, implement, and ship reliable, well-tested features

Partner with stakeholders, architects, product owners, TPMs, and engineering teams on requirements, design, and execution plans

Ensure scalable, resilient system designs (APIs, architecture, dependencies) that minimize support costs and improve user experience

Maintain documentation design specs, deployment guides, operational support

Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retros)

Support QA during feature rollouts

What You'll Need

5+ years in software development, including 3+ years building on Salesforce

Strong grasp of the Salesforce platform's capabilities and limitations

OOP proficiency in a language like C#, Java, Go, or Python

Hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning, and SOQL/SOSL

API expertise SOAP, REST, and Bulk API design, development, and management

Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, or similar)

Hands-on Agentforce experience: building autonomous actions with Apex/Flows, grounded via Data Cloud pipelines and Prompt Builder

Strong communication skills able to gather requirements and explain technical designs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
