Role Overview

This role focuses on <\/span>designing, developing, and optimizing Salesforce CPQ solutions<\/b> <\/span>that power accurate quoting, scalable pricing, contract lifecycle management, billing hand offs, and predictable revenue operations. You will work closely with <\/span>Business Systems Analysts, Sales Ops, RevOps, Finance, Legal, and IT<\/b> <\/span>to translate requirements into robust, production‑ready CPQ configurations and automation.

  • Design, configure, and enhance <\/span>Salesforce CPQ (SteelBrick)<\/b> <\/span>solutions supporting:

  • Product catalogs and bundles
    <\/li>
  • Pricing models (one‑time, subscription, usage‑based)
    <\/li>
  • Discounts, approvals, and guardrails
    <\/li>
  • Renewals, amendments, co‑terming, uplifts
    <\/li>
  • Build and maintain <\/span>Price Rules, Product Rules, Discount Schedules<\/b>, MDQ, and guided selling flows
    <\/li>
  • Implement and optimize <\/span>Quote Line Editor (QLE)<\/b> <\/span>performance for large quotes and high‑volume sales teams
    <\/li>
  • Develop <\/span>Quote Calculator Plugin (QCP)<\/b> <\/span>logic (JavaScript) where declarative solutions are insufficient

    Lead‑to‑Cash / Quote‑to‑Cash Enablement
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

    • Support the full revenue lifecycle: <\/span>Lead → Opportunity → Quote → Order → Contract → Billing → Renewal<\/b>

    • Ensure clean downstream handoffs to <\/span>Order Management, Billing, ERP, and Revenue Recognition systems<\/b>
      <\/li>
    • Implement revenue‑safe CPQ designs aligned with <\/span>pricing governance and financial controls<\/b>
      <\/li>
    • Partner with RevOps and Finance to support:
      <\/li>
    • Subscription lifecycle management
      <\/li>
    • Revenue predictability and forecasting accuracy

    • Compliance with ASC‑606–aligned workflows (where applicable)

      Integrations & Platform Engineering

      • Build and support integrations between Salesforce CPQ and:

      • Billing platforms (Salesforce Billing, Stripe, Zuora, custom)

      • ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday Financials)

      • CLM tools (Conga, DocuSign, Adobe Sign)
        <\/li>
      • Leverage <\/span>Apex, SOQL, Flows, REST/SOAP APIs<\/b>, and middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi, Celigo) as needed
        <\/li>
      • Support data migration, synchronization, and transformation for product, pricing, and quote data
        <\/li><\/ul>

        Delivery, Testing & Operations

        • Translate functional requirements into scalable CPQ technical designs

        • Collaborate with BSAs and Product Owners on user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog refinement

        • Lead and support <\/span>UAT, regression testing, and release readiness<\/b>
          <\/li>
        • Provide post‑go‑live production support and continuous optimization
          <\/li>
        • Ensure deployments follow Salesforce and enterprise DevOps best practices (sandboxes, change sets, CI/CD where applicable)

          Required Qualifications

          • 5–10+ years<\/b> <\/span>of Salesforce development experience

          • 4+ years<\/b> <\/span>of hands‑on <\/span>Salesforce CPQ<\/b> <\/span>implementation experience

          • Proven delivery across <\/span>Quote‑to‑Cash / Lead‑to‑Cash<\/b> <\/span>processes

          • Strong experience with:

          • Salesforce CPQ (SteelBrick)

          • MDQ, pricing waterfalls, approvals, renewals, amendments
            <\/li>
          • Apex, SOQL, Flows, declarative automation

          • B2B SaaS revenue model experience:

          • Subscriptions, usage‑based pricing, expansions, renewals

          • Experience working in <\/span>Agile / Scrum<\/b> <\/span>teams with cross‑functional stakeholders
