Title: Salesforce Business Analyst

Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid)

Projected Start Date: 08/03/2026

Duration: Through 09/30/2027

 

Location Requirement

Candidates must reside within 90 miles of Lansing, MI at the time of submission. This requirement is non-negotiable.

 

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Hands-on experience supporting applications built on Salesforce.
  • Experience with QA/Testing, including test planning, execution, and defect tracking.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with State, Local, or Federal government agencies.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of FedRAMP and HIPAA compliance.
  • Experience with NICE CXone or other contact center platforms.
  • Strong background in business process reengineering and identifying technology solutions to improve business operations.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard business process mapping methodologies, including legacy and emerging technologies.
  • Understanding of relational databases and client-server architecture.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with data management, process improvement, and project management.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, evaluate, and prioritize business and user requirements.
  • Triage user requests and support tickets by assigning priority and severity while communicating updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage and prioritize CRM inbox communications.
  • Draft and distribute communications regarding system updates, business process changes, timelines, and other CRM-related announcements.
  • Analyze business processes and recommend technology solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Prepare solution alternatives, risk assessments, and financial analyses (cost-benefit, ROI, buy vs. build).
  • Gather and document business requirements, functional specifications, and technical specifications.
  • Support reporting, business intelligence, and data warehouse enhancements.
  • Assist in developing Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Support the deployment and administration of end-user reporting tools and platforms.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to gather reporting and data warehousing requirements and recommend solutions.
  • Document solutions and provide knowledge transfer to the Enterprise Reporting Team.
  • Participate in business systems analysis and process improvement initiatives.
  • Work under general supervision while supporting project managers and project teams.
  • Attend assigned Behavioral Health CRM meetings and project discussions.
  • Assist the QA/Testing team as needed based on project workload.
