Job Description:
Scope of Work
Under the supervision of the Worker Empowerment Cabinet’s Boston Residents Job Policy (BRJP) Senior Manager, the Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for both the technical maintenance of the BRJP application and assisting BRJP staff and end users with technical support and training.

Specific responsibilities will include:
Administration
  • Oversee all aspects of user and license management, including:
  • New user account setup and security configuration.
  • Managing Salesforce license assignment across different roles and license types;and Deactivation of inactive user accounts.

Technical Assistance/User Support[1]
  • Play auxiliary role to BRJP Construction Monitors who will provide primary interface with end users. Be the secondary contact with end users, including contractors and subs concerning Salesforce matters;
  • Staff the weekly Salesforce office hours on-line.
  • Provide technical assistance to BRJP staff and contractors, including:
  • Issues with self-service timesheet submission.
  • Update payroll administration (changing contact name/e-mail).
  • General Contractor can't find subcontractor.
  • Unlock timesheet/add missing worker.
  • Duplicate workers/merge workers.
  • Update worker address/Info;and Password Resets.
  • Shift end-user assistance to Construction Monitors, providing TA to contractors on an as needed basis for more complicated requests.

User Training
  • Streamline the creation of training materials and videos.
  • Work in partnership with current staff to create and maintain training materials as needed.
  • Assist with user training as needed.
  • Onboarding of monitors and contractors;and
  • Monitor adoption of Salesforce features and application usership.

Data management and reporting
  • Assist with responding to requests for data from numerous sources including City Council.
  • Facilitate data component of bi-annual report to City Council;and
  • Respond to, evaluate and create new data inquiries for BRJP staff as needed.

Minor Feature Development: Application Development
  • Implement minor feature enhancements including updates to fields and existing page layouts, minor automation enhancements, and other low-complexity changes to existing application functionality.

Product Champion:
  • Working in conjunction with MOH and BRJP teams, the BRJP Product Champion liaises with the MOH
  • Salesforce Product Manager to provide direction and priority of potential feature enhancements.
  • The BRJP Salesforce Product Champion serves as the key conduit between BRJP staff and the MOH Product
  • Champion and represents the consolidated interests of the department.
  • The BRJP Salesforce Product Champion works with the MOH Salesforce Product Manager to document, refine, and prioritize new feature development requests, coordinate staff training, and drive user adoption.
