Sales Tax Accountant + Temporary + Omaha

Our client is a rapidly growing national services company experiencing significant expansion and is seeking a Temporary Sales Tax Accountant to provide immediate support with sales tax compliance and general accounting responsibilities.
This is a full-time, in-office opportunity where youll join an established accounting team and make an immediate impact by helping ensure timely and accurate sales tax filings across multiple states.
What Youll Do
Prepare, file, and remit multi-state sales tax returns and payments
Ensure sales tax filings are accurate and completed on schedule
Research and resolve sales tax questions and discrepancies
Assist with general staff accounting responsibilities as workload requires
Support month-end accounting activities, reconciliations, and other financial tasks
Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain accurate financial records and improve processes
What Theyre Looking For
Required
Previous experience preparing and filing multi-state sales tax returns
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize deadlines and work independently
Solid Microsoft Excel skills
