The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for the preparation of proposals based on customers’ incoming requests for quotes. This person must have the ability to interpret customers’ technical and commercial documents to ensure quotations meet both company and customer requirements.


Key Responsibilities:


+ Develop the capability to quote all assigned products for the market Business Line served globally, in alignment with go-to-market strategy and service level requirements.

+ Respond to customer phone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.

+ Review incoming requests from the filtering team and/or directly from customers, including technical and commercial specifications and documentation.

+ Calculate pricing and discounts utilizing approved processes and price lists.

+ Coordinate with the appropriate costing/pricing authority when products or special adders fall outside standard price lists.

+ Provide solutions or offer alternatives that meet customer requirements.

+ Prepare and send quotations on time, exceeding customer expectations.

+ Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and preferences.

+ Provide accurate and timely information to customers, field sales personnel, and other stakeholders regarding orders, inquiries, and related activities.


Preferred Qualifications: It would be a strong plus if the candidate has experience working with U.S. Government agencies (such as NAVSUP WSS and the Defense Logistics Agency), familiarity with Nuclear Quality Program requirements, and an awareness of Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).


While not mandatory, candidates who possess knowledge in these areas will be considered a valuable asset.
