Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST (100% Onsite)
Overview of the Job
The Sales Support Representative II serves as the primary point of contact for all aspects of customer order fulfillment, scientific sales support, and client account management. This role coordinates across internal and external teams—including lab scientists, marketing, shipping, order fulfillment, and direct/outside commercial teams—to support domestic customers, global teams, and international distributors. Responsibilities span lead management, quote generation, order entry, and maintaining accurate data across enterprise platforms.

Primary Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary contact for customer order fulfillment, including entering and following up on sales quotes, handling customer inquiries, and managing pre- and post-sales marketing activities.
• Coordinate and collaborate across disparate functional groups (laboratory scientists, marketing, shipping, order fulfillment, and outside sales) to meet customer needs.
• Support lead management, lead follow-up, and opportunity closure throughout assigned sales territories.
• Provide ongoing sales support for domestic US customers, international distributors, and global direct sales teams.
• Input, approve, and maintain accurate customer data within ERP (Sage) and CRM (Salesforce) systems.
• Participate in business process improvement groups and assist in driving organizational change and workflow efficiency.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Strong understanding of scientific applications, laboratory workflows, and technical product information to effectively communicate with scientific, technical, and non-technical audiences.
• Proficient in CRM and ERP platforms (Salesforce and Sage experience preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with biological science concepts or analytical laboratory environments.
Preferred Qualifications
• Laboratory experience or background supporting scientific products, instrumentation, or consumables.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a Life Science or Business-related field is preferred.
