The Sales Support Coordinator is the first point of contact
for MDM Scaffolding — managing incoming calls on the main line, welcoming
visitors at the entrance, and providing essential sales follow-up support
through Salesforce CRM. This role sits at the intersection of office
administration and sales operations, requiring a polished, professional
presence combined with strong organizational skills and the ability to keep the
sales pipeline moving. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and
proactive in supporting both the sales team and day-to-day office functions.
KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reception & Phone Management
• Serve
as the first point of contact for all incoming calls on the main company line;
route calls promptly and professionally to the appropriate department or
personnel.
• Greet
and assist visitors, clients, and vendors at the office entrance; maintain a
professional and welcoming front-desk environment.
• Take
accurate messages and ensure timely follow-up when personnel are unavailable.
• Manage
general office correspondence including emails directed to company inboxes.
• Monitor
and maintain the reception and lobby area to reflect MDM's professional brand
standards.
Salesforce CRM & Sales Follow-Up
• Manage
and maintain up-to-date records in Salesforce CRM, including leads, contacts,
accounts, and opportunities.
• Conduct
timely follow-up on open quotes, bids, and proposals on behalf of the sales
team.
• Track
and log all customer interactions, calls, and communications in Salesforce.
• Assist
Account Managers and Business Development staff by preparing follow-up emails,
call logs, and status updates for prospects and active customers.
• Monitor
the quote and bid database to ensure due dates are being met and that no
opportunities fall through the cracks.
• Distribute
inbound sales inquiries to the appropriate Account Manager or Business
Development representative.
• Strong
verbal and written communication skills; professional phone manner and
in-person presence.
• Proficiency
with Salesforce CRM or similar customer relationship management platforms.
• Ability
to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced office
environment.
• High
attention to detail in data entry, follow-up tracking, and documentation.
• Proficient
with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel) and general digital tools.
