Description

An Automotive Parts Manufacture is seeking a Sales / Sales Manager to join their team near Murfreesbro, TN. This is Full-Time/ Direct-Hire Onsite role with comprehensive benefit package.

Job Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.
  • Leading sales promotion activities of new and future products including technical presentations to Clients.
  • Identifying emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Commercial management of JOEM North America (NISSAN) including handling quotations (RFQs) process through the product launch process on all assigned programs (retention of existing business) and new program acquisition targets.
  • Building new customer relationships with SUBARU, HONDA, TOYOTA, and Mitsubishi.
  • Negotiations with customers – Commercial Commitment Document (CCD), compensation for uncollected development costs, labor costs and price increase negotiations (Managing profitability).
  • Leading business plan preparation for Mid-term and next year - Arrangement and reporting of preconditions for sales plan
  • Updating Sales Forecast – Weekly and Monthly report to Japan parent company including the update of Sales Estimate and Royalty.
  • Managing the End of Production (EOP) and Start of Production (SOP).
  • Presentation of initial demand for newly launched products to Production Control and Logistics.
  • Other job duties are assigned as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 3 years of Prior experience in outside sales in Automotive Parts Manufacturing Companies.
  • Valid driver's license and passport; ability to travel domestically, including occasional overnight trips.
  • Strong communication skills (Reading/Speaking/Writing).
  • Familiar with Japanese Language and Culture is a plus
  • While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
