TRC is partnering with a growing U.S. operations team within a manufacturing and distribution-focused organization seeking a versatile finance and customer-facing professional. This hybrid role blends accounting oversight with customer service and order management, supporting both financial integrity and a high-quality client experience.
This position serves as a dual-function Controller and Customer Service Representative, responsible for managing core accounting operations while also acting as the primary customer contact for order processing and post-sales support. The role requires strong financial acumen, operational discipline, and the ability to manage customer relationships and transactional workflows in a fast-paced environment.
Manage day-to-day accounting operations using QuickBooks and CRM/ERP systems
Maintain accurate financial records including AR, AP, invoicing, and collections
Perform bank reconciliations, expense tracking, and cash flow monitoring
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and reporting standards
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Coordinate with external accountants or headquarters teams as needed
Manage customer credit terms and enforce financial policies
Serve as primary contact for customer inquiries via phone and email
Process customer orders, generate quotes, and confirm delivery timelines
Coordinate logistics, shipping, and carrier communication for timely delivery
Manage after-sales support including returns, warranties, and issue resolution
Maintain accurate customer records within CRM systems
Collaborate with sales teams to support customer retention and business growth
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
3–7+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or controller-level responsibilities
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
Experience with CRM/ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred)
Background in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments preferred
Strong attention to detail and financial accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Strong communication and customer service skills
Professional, team-oriented mindset with operational discipline
Comfortable balancing financial oversight with direct customer interaction
