Sales Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member

Position Overview

Mark Shumilla State Farm is hiring a full-time Sales Representative in Waterbury, CT to join a supportive, professional sales team. We invest in our team’s success through training, ongoing development, and a work environment built around growth and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain customer relationships through consultative conversations about coverage needs
  • Meet weekly and monthly outreach and production goals
  • Participate in product training and licensing coursework
  • Set appointments and move prospects through the sales process
  • Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline records in the agency system

Qualifications

  • No prior sales experience required — we will train you
  • Willingness to obtain required insurance licenses
  • Team-oriented with a positive, coachable attitude
  • Strong phone presence and clear, confident communication
  • Self-motivated and comfortable with consistent outreach and follow-up
