Job Description
Locations: Kampala (Multiple Locations) Start date: February 2026
The Sales Representative will develop and promote sales at one of the Lapaire Optical Centers, meeting physically with potential customers and handling customer service. He/she will work closely with Eye Specialists from the Optical Center and will directly report to the Branch Manager.
Their job will be composed of 3 main tasks:
• Reach out and attend potential customers in the Field & at the Branch. • Increase awareness around clear sight to all potential customers in the field and at the branch. • Participate in fieldwork activities like distributing flyers and interesting people to come into the branch for free vision tests.
Use your knowledge to explain the benefits of wearing eyeglasses & answer questions related to eyewear. Listen and help people choose frames and lenses. Convert customers interest into successful sales. Follow-up with potential prospects over the phone, answering their questions related to pricing, payment, and delivery in order to convert them into paying customers.
Enter contact details of customers into the database using the Lapaire CRM. Present clear pricing and installment plans options to potential customers. Collect deposits and close sales with customers in due time through convincing arguments and sales pitches. Ensure smooth delivery to customers. Keep customers informed about the delivery and status of their order. Take the customers through the procedure of picking up their glasses. Inform customers about any after-sales service, how to leave a review, and collect referrals from them.

The salary of the sales representative is UGX. 500,000 gross per month. (Please note that no additional allowances (transport, lunch, medical, or other benefits) are provided beyond the stated salary).
