POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for increasing distribution, driving revenue growth, and strengthening customer relationships across grocery, wholesale, and distribution channels. The ideal candidate will operate with an ownership mindset, executing sales strategies while delivering best-in-class service and in-store execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and grow assigned sales territory by developing new business and expanding existing accounts
Build and maintain strong relationships with grocery retailers, wholesalers, and distribution partners
Execute sales strategies to increase product distribution, shelf presence, and overall market share
Identify new opportunities for placement, promotion, and product expansion within accounts
Conduct regular sales calls and develop structured daily and weekly routing plans
Merchandise products in-store, ensuring optimal shelf placement, pricing, and promotional execution
Submit accurate and timely orders using company systems and product pricing guidelines
Monitor competitive activity, pricing trends, and market conditions, providing actionable feedback to management
Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and territory performance
Collaborate with internal teams to support marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns
Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
2–4 years of sales experience, preferably in Authentic Hispanic food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods (CPG)
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a territory-based role
Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills
Experience working with retail stores, distributors, or foodservice accounts preferred
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
Must have strong computer skills & Microsoft (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Local travel (75% of the time - with mileage reimbursement)
