Sales Representative

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our team as a Sales Representative at Bill Hood Chevrolet in Amite, Louisiana. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our high-quality vehicles and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the fast-paced auto industry.Compensation & Benefits:This position offers a competitive salary, commission structure, and benefits package. In addition, you will have the opportunity to receive ongoing training and development to enhance your sales skills and knowledge of our products.Responsibilities:- Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and assist them in finding the right vehicle- Provide customers with accurate and detailed information about our vehicles, financing options, and warranties- Conduct test drives to showcase the features and benefits of our vehicles- Meet and exceed sales targets and goals set by the dealership- Utilize various sales techniques, such as upselling and add-ons, to increase revenue and profitability- Maintain a thorough understanding of our inventory and pricing to assist customers in making informed decisions- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner- Collaborate with other departments, such as financing and service, to ensure a seamless customer experience- Attend industry events and training to stay updated on new products and sales techniquesRequirements:- High School Diploma or equivalent- Previous sales experience in the automotive industry is a plus- Excellent communication and customer service skills- Ability to build strong relationships and trust with customers- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools- Strong negotiation and closing skills- Valid driver's license and clean driving record- Must be able to work flexible hoursEEOC Statement:Bill Hood Chevrolet is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
