Summary

DaMar Staffing Solutions of Indianapolis ("DaMar") is a premier boutique recruitment firm offering full-service contingency base solutions for administrative and professional level staffing for all industries. The agency recruiter is responsible for the full-cycle recruiting process.

To be successful in this role idea professional must have a proven track record of filling a variety jobs and seniority levels. Ultimately providing top talent to clients in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)

  • This role is responsible for driving recruiting activity and contributing to placement goals. Success in this position is measured by candidate submissions, placements, and overall contribution to team revenue targets.
  • This is a hybrid recruiting and sales-focused role. The ideal candidate is comfortable building relationships with both candidates and clients, identifying opportunities, and contributing to business development efforts.
Candidate Sourcing & Placement
  • Source, screen, interview, assess and reference check candidates for DaMar clients. (Work hard to build relationships with candidates).
  • Conduct prescreen calls for all candidates (passive or actively in job search).
  • Publish job ads on career pages, job boards, social media.
  • Build DaMar candidate pool through social media (Facebook, Linkedin etc.), job boards, internet sites, and increasing relationships with colleges/universities, career fairs etc.
  • Continuously explore new recruiting sources, job boards and forums in effort to grow candidate pool.
  • Evaluate candidates by discussing job requirements and skills/capabilities, analyzing assessments and reference checks. (Goal is to identify any potential candidate red flags)
  • Prep candidates for interviews; provide interview and resume coaching as needed. Conduct candidate debrief after interview.
  • Liaison between client(s) and DaMar employee. Terminate employees as needed and conduct exit interviews.
  • Ensure all hiring paperwork is filled out thoroughly and all required screening protocols are completed when required by client.
Pipeline & Relationship Management
  • Keep detailed records of past applicants' information, including resumes, assignments and interview evaluations. Input information in to Zoho CRM/ATS.
  • Create talent pipelines with high-potential candidates for future job opportunities.
  • Follow-up regularly with candidates to build relationships; ask for referrals.
Client & Sales Support
  • Create candidate snapshots to present to DaMar Business Development (BD) professional or to clients; company research with result of creating a prospect list to pass to BD.
  • Actively participate in networking groups and other business and community programs to increase knowledge, network with potential candidates and clients; job fair participation.
  • Communicate with clients regarding specific job orders, candidate submittals and other candidate matters.
  • Document all sales activities and submit weekly reports. Responsible for hitting sales targets. Sales funnels are used along with metrics tracking to help with progress reports.
Desired Skills and Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required. Previous experience in sales or account management a plus.
  • 3+ years of full cycle recruiting and or talent sourcing experience a plus.
  • Ability to manage the first few hiring stages (job positing, sourcing, screening, interviewing)
  • Strong skills in building relationships, critical thinking, collaboration and verbal/written communications are required.
  • Experience with various interview formats, including phone screening calls, in-person interviews and group interviews
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Internet and Email; resume databases and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Must be energetic, detail-oriented, organized, highly motivated and self-directed individual with ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Get it done attitude and work ethic; troubleshooting and negotiating skills; including ability to effectively interview candidates and communicate candidate skills to team members or client(s)
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
  • This role requires a high level of urgency, accountability, and a "get it done" mindset. The ideal candidate is self-driven, comfortable with metrics, and motivated by both individual and team success.
  • Base salary: $35,000 - $60,000 plus uncapped commission. Top performers have strong earning potential based on performance and placements.
