    What you’ll be doing...

    In this role, you will be an individual contributor supporting the Compensation Enablement team, which helps shape, lead, and drive Verizon's business growth through comprehensive initiatives and programs. Your primary focus will be on commissions, incentive structures, and recognition programs that accelerate sales, maximize revenue, and provide an exceptional end-to-end experience for our sales teams and stakeholders. This position reports to the Director of Sales Compensation Enablement for CX and Revenue Operations.

    • Commissions and Incentive Optimization: Guide the evolution of commission and reward structures—from initial concept to financial ROI modeling—ensuring incentive plans motivate performance while protecting margin health.

    • Data Storytelling and Actionable Insights: Extract, mine, and analyze complex commission, financial, and operational data to evaluate program performance, translating metrics into clear, compelling narratives and strategic insights for leadership decision-making.

    • End-to-End Project Leadership: Lead complex projects from concept to execution and enterprise rollout, driving alignment across finance, sales ops, and executive stakeholders to deliver high-priority compensation initiatives within tight deadlines.

    • Build with Speed and Smart Innovation: Take smart, responsible risks to remove manual friction, leveraging data, AI, and decisive action to transform outdated processes into scalable operations.

    • Strategic Alignment and Governance: Direct the governance of internal sales inquiries to maintain uniform operations across the enterprise, managing risk while keeping operations agile.

    • Presentation and Executive Delivery: Create high-level visual presentations and manage critical deliverables, framing data-backed solutions for key decision-makers.

    • Operational and Margin Governance: Monitor operational output, distribution costs, and key performance indicators to keep programs scalable and financially sound.

You combine deep technical domain knowledge in commissions and finance with an innovative spirit that constantly asks, "How can we build this faster and better?"

    You'll need to have:

    • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

    • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

    • Two or more years of hands-on experience in Commissions, Sales Operations, Project Management, or Finance.

    • Experience extracting, mining, and analyzing data to evaluate program performance.

    • Experience translating complex financial and operational data into strategic insights for leadership decision-making.

    • Experience leading complex projects from concept to execution and rollout.

    Even better if you have one or more of the following:

    • A Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.

    • Proven track record of taking smart risks and implementing innovative strategies that streamline operations and drive measurable business growth.

    • Deep knowledge of enterprise sales compensation structures, commission mechanics, and incentive design.

    • Experience leading cross-functional teams and building consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.

    • Exceptional presentation, communication, and visual storytelling skills using data.

    • Ability to balance big-picture strategic thinking with meticulous, detail-oriented project execution.

    Where you’ll be working

    In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.

    The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

    The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $104,500.00 - $200,000.00.
