Job Title: Sales Operations Manager Department: Industrial Equipment Supervisor: Director of Sales Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Manages the daily operations of sales administration of new, used, rental, and storage & handling products.
- Oversees the resource allocation and workflow of all support activities including order processing, RFP response, data collection, and the preparation of reports to support sales teams.
- Identifies and resolves operational issues.
- May resolve complex customer requests or complaints. May manage the processing of sales incentive or commission programs.
- Responsible for all other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a closely related field is required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, sales operations, sales analysis, or a related field as an individual contributor.
- 1-3 years experience in management is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience working in the equipment distribution business.
- Well-developed verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with strong organizational, problem solving and time management skills.
- Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously and comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
- Ability to work efficiently and effective independently.
- Some local and domestic travel from time to time may be required.
- Occasional weekend and night required as project deems necessary.
- Working in office, warehouse, and a variety of customer facilities may be required.
- Working in a stationary position for an extended period.
- Moving or traversing for an extended period.
- Operating computers for an extended period.
- Possible exposure to noise levels exceeding recommended DBA levels.
