Aquatech immediately needs a full-time Sales Operations Leader to work in our Canonsburg, PA office. The hours of this position are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for enabling sales teams to perform at a higher level through standardized sales processes, sales operations, CRM governance, opportunity management, analytics, pipeline management, performance reporting, and sales training programs. The successful candidate will serve as a key partner to sales leadership, helping create a disciplined, data-driven commercial organization that consistently improves pipeline quality, forecast accuracy, sales productivity, and win rates.
Job Description:
Commercial Process Governance
- Own and continuously improve Aquatech's global sales process framework
- Develop, maintain, and deploy commercial playbooks, procedures, and governance tools
- Drive adoption of standardized qualification criteria, opportunity reviews, and sales stage definitions
- Establish and manage sales process gate reviews and commercial governance routines
- Ensure consistent execution of Commercial Excellence methodologies across regions
- Monitor process compliance and identify opportunities for improvement
Sales Operations & CRM Excellence
- Own commercial operations processes supporting opportunity management and pipeline governance
- Ensure effective utilization and data integrity within CRM platforms.
- Partner with sales leadership to improve forecasting accuracy and pipeline visibility
- Develop standards and best practices for opportunity management and account planning
- Lead regular pipeline reviews and opportunity inspection processes
- Drive continuous improvement in sales effectiveness through process and data analysis
Analytics, Dashboards & Business Insights
- Develop and maintain executive-level dashboards and KPI reporting
- Analyze pipeline health, sales funnel performance, conversion rates, forecast accuracy, and sales productivity
- Generate actionable insights to support decision-making by regional and global leadership
- Identify trends, risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities throughout the commercial process
- Support Monthly Operating Reviews and executive business reviews with data-driven analysis
Sales Enablement & Training
- Develop and administer Aquatech's global sales training program
- Create onboarding programs for new commercial team members
- Coordinate training related to sales methodologies, opportunity qualification, CRM utilization, account management, and commercial processes
- Develop training materials, guides, playbooks, and learning paths
- Partner with product management and technical teams to integrate commercial and product training initiatives
- Track training effectiveness and adoption metrics
Leadership & Change Management
- Act as a champion for Commercial Excellence initiatives globally
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders to drive adoption of new processes and tools
- Support organizational change management activities related to commercial transformation initiatives
- Coach sales managers and business development teams on commercial best practices
- Manage and develop Commercial Excellence personnel
Skill Requirements
