Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Operations Analyst II to support a major semiconductor customer in Boise, ID.

This is a highly visible, customer-facing position responsible for coordinating product orders, managing equipment delivery schedules, analyzing forecasts and operational data, and serving as a key liaison between the customer and global manufacturing teams.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent customer communication. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required, and experience with CRM/SAP, Power BI, Monday.com, or Snowflake is highly desirable.

Candidates with experience in data analysis, logistics, supply chain, sales operations, order management, or semiconductor manufacturing are particularly well suited.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for product ordering and delivery-related activities.

  • Act as a liaison between the customer and international manufacturing teams.

  • Manage equipment delivery schedules based on customer requirements and factory capacity.

  • Communicate delivery timing for new and reuse equipment.

  • Work directly with customers to optimize delivery schedules and support internal revenue targets.

  • Identify and correct forecast discrepancies.

  • Collaborate with Sales to adjust delivery schedules and help achieve revenue goals.

  • Track and report delivery performance metrics and customer scorecard information.

  • Manage forecast changes internally and externally.

  • Reconcile fees and remedies associated with on-time delivery, including applicable transit reimbursements and credit memos.

  • Coordinate expedite and cancellation fees when appropriate.

  • Research and resolve customs and logistics issues in partnership with customers, carriers, and logistics teams.

  • Schedule and participate in customer meetings involving forecasts, orders, deliveries, and operational issues.

  • Optimize manufacturing schedules and coordinate production slots with factory stakeholders.

  • Lead customer discussions and assist with escalations and issue resolution.

  • Support resolution of quality issues and continuous improvement initiatives affecting the supply chain.

  • Maintain and regularly report key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Utilize data analytics tools to create and analyze reports related to sales performance and operational efficiency.

  • Work closely with Sales to align delivery forecasts with revenue objectives.

  • Maintain confidentiality and security of customer, product, and business information.

Required Qualifications

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.

  • Previous customer-facing experience required.

  • Strong analytical and data-analysis skills.

  • Ability to independently troubleshoot issues and apply critical thinking to solve problems.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

  • Familiarity with logistics and supply-chain processes.

  • Ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional stakeholders.

Education & Experience

Candidates should meet one of the following education/experience combinations:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree with 6 years of related experience, or

  • 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

In addition, candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant industry experience.

  • Experience with SAP or CRM systems.

  • Experience with Power BI.

  • Experience with Monday.com.

  • Experience with Snowflake.

  • Semiconductor industry experience.

  • Sales operations or order-management experience.

  • Supply chain and logistics experience.

  • Forecasting and delivery-scheduling experience.

  • Experience creating and analyzing operational reports and KPIs.

  • Project management experience.

  • Understanding of manufacturing schedules and capacity planning.

  • Japanese bilingual language skills strongly preferred.
