Sales Operations Analyst
Location: Boise, ID 83702
Pay Rate: $35/hour

Will support Micron operations in Boise, ID
Acts as the primary point of contact (POC) for product ordering
Serves as liaison between the client and teams in Japan
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Bilingual Japanese language skills strongly preferred
Familiarity with data analysis, logistics, and supply chain processes preferred
Job Summary
Under close supervision, this role is responsible for managing delivery schedules in alignment with customer demand and factory capacity. The position requires direct communication with external customers to coordinate schedules, negotiate order expedites, meet contractual commitments, and manage forecast changes. The goal is to effectively balance customer requirements with internal operations to support revenue targets.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Communicate global delivery timelines to customers for both new and refurbished equipment.
Interface directly with customers to optimize delivery schedules and correct forecast discrepancies while supporting internal revenue targets.
Collaborate with Sales to strategically negotiate and adjust delivery schedules to meet revenue goals.
Provide delivery performance metrics for customer scorecards and support negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes.
Reconcile fees and remedies related to on-time delivery, including issuing credit memos for transit reimbursements when necessary.
Utilize strategies such as expedite or cancellation fees to minimize manufacturing line disruptions in accordance with department guidelines.
Resolve customs-related issues by coordinating with customer logistics teams and carriers.
Maintain strict confidentiality and security regarding customer information, products, and materials.
Schedule and participate in customer meetings related to forecasts, orders, and delivery timelines.
Minimum Requirements – Education & Experience
Bachelor's or Associate's degree with 4 years of related experience, or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred
6 months to 1 year of experience communicating directly with customers in a professional setting
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently troubleshoot issues and apply critical thinking to resolve customer problems
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications
Effective communication skills with the ability to interact respectfully and professionally with team members and stakeholders
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
Self-motivated and able to perform effectively with minimal supervision
