Position Title: Retail Merchandiser / Route Merchandiser

Location: West Palm Beach, FL (servicing Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Boca Raton territories)

Clearance Requirements: None

Position Status: Contract (4 Months)

Pay Rate: $19/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Position Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Retail Merchandiser / Route Merchandiser to support retail operations across independent grocery and liquor store accounts in the South Florida territory. This role involves servicing multiple retail locations daily, stocking beverage products, maintaining merchandising displays, and supporting sales initiatives within assigned accounts.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys working in the field, building strong relationships with store personnel, and ensuring products are properly stocked, organized, and presented. This position requires daily travel within the assigned territory and the ability to perform physically active tasks such as lifting product cases and using ladders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel within an assigned route to service 4-10 retail accounts per day, including independent grocery and liquor stores.
  • Stock beverage products from back stock or deliveries onto store shelves and cold boxes.
  • Rotate merchandise to ensure product freshness and proper inventory management.
  • Build and maintain in-store displays and point-of-sale (POS) marketing materials.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized back-stock areas.
  • Assist sales representatives with product merchandising and store execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with store managers and staff.
  • Accurately track time and activity while adhering to company policies and labor guidelines.
  • Support merchandising and sales teams by identifying product needs and maintaining shelf availability.

Required Skills / Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance.
  • Clean driving record required.
  • Ability to travel between retail accounts daily within the territory.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday.
  • Comfortable with walking, standing, bending, climbing ladders, and reaching during store visits.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous retail merchandising, grocery, beverage, or retail stocking experience.
  • Familiarity with inventory rotation, shelf merchandising, and display setup.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills while working independently.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with store personnel and team members.
