Help Us Build a Better Way to Sell Cleaning Services

TimeWise is a growing residential and commercial cleaning company with an established reputation and a big vision: to be the go-to premium time-saving service provider in the Northeast that everyone wants to hire and where everyone wants to work.

We're looking for an organized, driven, kind, and coachable person to join our team and help us improve and own our sales and marketing process.

This is not a traditional “hard sales” job. Most people contacting us already know they need a cleaner. Our job is to understand their needs, provide an accurate quote, answer their questions, explain what makes TimeWise different, and make it easy for them to become a customer.

Our current process works, but it's more complicated than it should be. We want to make it easier for our team to sell and incredibly easy for customers to buy.

You'll work directly with the management team to improve the process, build better systems, and personally handle sales along the way.

What You'll Do

Sales & Customer Experience

  • Respond to residential leads by phone, text, and email
  • Ask the right questions to understand customer needs and provide accurate quotes
  • Follow up with leads and convert them into recurring customers
  • Help customers understand the TimeWise difference
  • Conduct in-person estimates for commercial cleaning opportunities
  • Build relationships with commercial clients and help guide them through the process
  • Handle customer questions, concerns, and complaints professionally—including high-value customer relationships
  • Track sales activity, conversion rates, revenue, and other key numbers

Build & Improve Our Sales Process

You'll learn how we currently sell, identify what's working and what isn't, and help us make it better.

Together, we'll work on:

  • Simplifying the quoting and booking process
  • Creating better sales scripts and follow-up systems
  • Documenting our sales process so it's consistent and repeatable
  • Building internal tools, forms, templates, and workflows
  • Improving how we manage leads and customer information
  • Evaluating MaidCentral and other technology to determine what tools best support our process
  • Finding ways to save time while improving the customer experience

We're looking for someone who naturally asks, “Is there a better way to do this?”

Marketing & Lead Generation

You'll also help us generate more business through:

  • Email marketing
  • Google and online marketing
  • Social media
  • Customer referral opportunities
  • Re-engaging former customers and unconverted leads
  • Promotions and seasonal campaigns
  • Flyers and other local marketing
  • Commercial prospecting and outreach
  • Tracking where our leads and customers come from

When sales are slow, we're not afraid to roll up our sleeves. That might mean calling former customers, reaching out to businesses, distributing flyers, or trying something new.

You won't be expected to know how to do all of this on day one. You'll work closely with the owner and our existing marketing resources while gradually taking more ownership of the marketing function.

Who We're Looking For

This could be a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to learn quickly, be challenged, and grow professionally.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Driven and willing to take initiative
  • Coachable and genuinely interested in learning
  • A natural leader who takes ownership without needing to manage people
  • Kind and professional, especially when dealing with frustrated customers
  • Comfortable talking with people and making phone calls
  • Comfortable with computers, software, spreadsheets, and learning new technology
  • Comfortable working with numbers and reports
  • A problem solver who looks for simpler, better ways to do things
  • Persistent without being pushy
  • Able to work independently while also taking direction and coaching

We're not looking for someone who needs to be told exactly what to do, avoids difficult conversations, overcomplicates things, or isn't comfortable being accountable for results.

Experience

We care more about potential, attitude, and work ethic than having the perfect resume.

Cleaning industry experience is a plus because understanding our service and our customers matters. If you don't have cleaning experience, you must be willing to learn the business.

Sales, customer service, hospitality, marketing, or other client-facing experience is helpful but not required.

What You'll Get

You'll work directly with the owner as we build this function together. You'll receive coaching, learn how a growing service business operates, and have the opportunity to develop skills in:

Sales • Marketing • Customer Experience • Technology • Process Improvement • Business Development

This position is expected to grow as TimeWise grows. Your responsibilities and compensation can increase as you develop your skills and take on more ownership. The position also includes a bonus opportunity.

Most importantly, you'll have the chance to help build something.

We're working to create a company that takes care of its people, develops its employees, and becomes one of the best places to work in Rochester. If you're ambitious, curious, kind, and excited about learning and making things better, we'd love to meet you.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable personal vehicle
  • Current auto insurance
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to travel locally for commercial estimates and other business needs
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday, approximately 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new software
