Sales & Marketing Administrative Assistant at TSI

The Sales & Marketing Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative support, primarily to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing. This role reports directly to the VP of Sales & Marketing and involves coordinating daily operations, managing schedules, preparing reports, handling communication tasks, and maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. They will play a key role in supporting the team's efforts to achieve business objectives.

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with TSI, you will:

  • Proactively identify and assume administrative tasks that will support and open bandwidth for the VP
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings and travel arrangements for the VP
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, and reports, including expense reports
  • Assist with Business Decision Week and other Senior Management Team meeting preparations and follow up
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and other communications, ensuring prompt and professional responses
  • Manage the VP's calendar and all associated demands of the VP's time
  • Support event planning and coordination, including trade shows, conferences, and promotional events
  • Engage in the Sales and Marketing activity committee to plan events for our team members
  • Monitor and manage office supplies and marketing materials inventory, as requested
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects
  • Assist with managing employee vacation time and update the VP's calendars with scheduled time off
  • May provide administrative support to other senior leaders in the Sales and Marketing function, as needed, with prior approval from manager
  • Provide coverage for the Front Desk / Receptionist role, as needed
  • Perform other administrative tasks, as assigned

What Do You Need?

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of proven relevant, applicable experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills
  • General understanding of electronic communications media
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks
  • Writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with other teams within the organization
  • Working knowledge of CRM/ERP system (SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, Salesforce, or similar)
  • Willingness to be available outside of normal business hours during occasional global travel by VP to address any potential travel-related disruptions
  • Willingness to adapt to change and learn new responsibilities, as needed

Pay & Benefits:

Competitive market salary from $62,000 - $67,000 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
