Picnic Time is a successful & sunny SoCal-based wholesale supplier of premium outdoor leisure, gift, and promotional products established in a garage in 1982. (Don't worry, we have a real office now.) We know picnic, we love picnic, and we live picnic – it's literally in our name.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing key accounts.
• Identify and pursue new key account opportunities.
• Negotiate sales contracts and pricing agreements.
• Develop and execute account-specific sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., purchasing, logistics, marketing) to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the company CRM system.
• Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
• Proactively address and resolve customer issues and concerns.

Specific Skills Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience of 5+ years as a Key Account Manager, Sales Manager, or a similar role within a wholesale distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of sales principles, methods, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
• Ability to travel to customer locations nationwide as needed.
• Experience in the housewares, outdoor products, or consumer goods industries is a plus.

Reports to: National Sales Manager

Location:Moorpark, CA 93021

Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4 PM or 8:30 – 5 PM

Salary: $75,000 base

Commissions: Targeted at $15,000/year based on performance targets.

Expected On-Target Earnings: $90,000+ per year (commission is performance-based and uncapped)

Employee Type: Full-time, salaried, exempt from overtime
