Description

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with existing OEM customers to increase market share and drive revenue growth.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within targeted industries and customer accounts.
  • Build relationships with engineering, procurement, operations, and executive stakeholders to understand customer requirements and future product needs.
  • Create and execute strategic account plans aligned with annual sales and profitability objectives.
  • Drive commercial growth while managing account performance, profitability, and pricing strategies.
  • Partner with engineering and product development teams to support new product introductions and customer-driven innovation.
  • Represent the business at customer meetings, industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive position.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to improve customer service, operational performance, and account management processes.
  • Contribute to long-term business planning, growth initiatives, and strategic sales objectives.
  • Track performance against key sales metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organisation.

  • Proven experience selling into OEM manufacturing environments.
  • Strong business development and account management capability.
  • Ability to engage confidently with engineers, procurement professionals, operations teams, and senior decision-makers.
  • Experience selling technical products, engineered solutions, components, or manufactured products.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand customer applications and technical requirements.
  • Demonstrated success identifying and closing new business opportunities.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic mindset balanced with a hands-on approach to customer engagement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, operations, and leadership teams.
