A bit about us:
If you'd rather grow relationships with the facilities you already service than chase cold bids all day, this seat is built around the accounts, not the hunt.
Our client is a fast-growing operator in the commercial door, dock, and access-control space, with an established base of facility owners and operators — grocery, warehouse, distribution, retail, and property management — who rely on them for ongoing service and repair.
Why join us?
● A warmer sales motion — you're building on existing relationships and service history, not starting cold every time.
● Recurring revenue focus — service agreements and preventative maintenance contracts, not one-off construction bids.
● Real influence over account growth — you decide how to deepen and expand relationships within your portfolio.
● Close collaboration with the service team, since your accounts are often existing service customers.
Job Details
A Day in This Role
You start the day reviewing which accounts are due for a maintenance contract renewal or check-in call. Mid-morning, you visit a warehouse operator to walk the facility and identify doors or dock equipment nearing end-of-life, then put together a proposal for a phased replacement. After lunch, you follow up with a retail property manager about expanding a service agreement to two more locations, and close the day updating your account plan for next quarter.
The Role
● Own and grow a portfolio of existing end-user accounts — facility owners and operators rather than general contractors.
● Identify service agreement, maintenance contract, and repair/replacement opportunities within existing accounts.
● Conduct facility walk-throughs to assess equipment condition and recommend upgrades or replacements.
● Prepare and present proposals for service agreements and equipment upgrades.
● Coordinate closely with the service team to align on account history, open issues, and upcoming work.
● Track account health and renewal timing to prevent service-agreement lapses.
What You Bring — Must-Haves
● Experience in account management, relationship-based sales, or service-contract sales.
● Strong relationship-building and follow-through skills.
● Comfortable conducting facility walk-throughs and translating findings into a sales proposal.
What You Bring — Nice-to-Haves
● Experience specifically with facilities, property management, or commercial building services accounts.
● Familiarity with service agreements or maintenance-contract sales models.
● Commercial door, dock, or access-control industry background.
Career Path
Strong performers in this seat are well-positioned to grow into a senior account management or regional sales leadership role as the account base expands, including through the company's ongoing acquisition strategy.
