Position Overview

The StClair Agency is directly appointed with Farmers Insurance. We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our growing team. This position is designed for individuals who have strong sales ability and leadership potential and are looking to build a long term career in sales management.

The role begins with a six month training program focused on developing the skills needed to successfully lead a sales team. During this period, you will learn our sales process, product offerings, agency operations, and coaching methods while building your own book of business.

Upon successful completion of the training program, you will transition into a Sales Manager position with responsibility for recruiting, developing, and leading a team of Insurance Advisors.

Salary Range: $85600.00 - $91200.00 per year

Responsibilities

During the Training Program

• Develop a strong understanding of our insurance products and sales process
• Build and manage a personal book of business
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
• Learn agency operations and performance expectations
• Participate in leadership development and sales coaching

As a Sales Manager

• Recruit, train, and develop new Account Executives
• Coach team members to achieve individual and agency sales goals
• Monitor sales performance and provide ongoing feedback
• Foster a positive, accountable, and results driven team culture
• Support continued growth of the agency

Qualifications

• Leadership experience or leadership potential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self motivated with a competitive mindset
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities
• Colorado Property & Casualty and Life licenses, or the ability to obtain them
