The Hilton Anchorage Alaskas largest full-service hotel is seeking a motivated and energetic Sales Manager. Located in the heart of downtown Anchorage, our 606-room hotel features a full-service restaurant and bar, room service, fitness center, indoor pool, and more than 20,000 square feet of versatile event space.
Responsibilities: • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and enhance performance. • Develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with company objectives. • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities. • Manage key accounts while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. • Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize revenue. • Utilize Salesforce for tracking sales activities, forecasting, and reporting on performance metrics. • Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials that support sales initiatives. • Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills.
Skills: • Strong knowledge of market dynamics and sales techniques. • Proven experience in business development and account management. • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively. • Proficiency in using Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing customer relationships. • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and make informed decisions. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and team members. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
