Talent Wave Associates is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Sales Executive to help expand our national presence within the technology, engineering, and manufacturing sectors. This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing strategic client partnerships, and promoting Talent Wave Associates' staffing and professional search solutions across contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire services.

The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and understands the complexities of technical and industrial hiring markets. This individual will play a key role in driving revenue growth while positioning Talent Wave Associates as a trusted workforce solutions partner.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development
  • Identify, prospect, and develop new client relationships nationwide within the technology, engineering, and manufacturing sectors.
  • Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events, and strategic outreach initiatives.
  • Conduct discovery meetings with hiring managers, HR leaders, and executives to understand workforce needs and hiring challenges.
  • Present Talent Wave Associates' staffing, recruiting, and executive search capabilities to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate service agreements, pricing, and contract terms.
Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain long-term partnerships with clients by delivering exceptional service and workforce solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with recruiting teams to ensure successful talent delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on labor market trends, compensation insights, and hiring strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and grow revenue within current client relationships.
Market Expertise
  • Stay informed on trends affecting technology, engineering, manufacturing, and industrial hiring markets.
  • Maintain awareness of competitor offerings and evolving staffing industry trends.
  • Represent Talent Wave Associates professionally at conferences, trade associations, networking events, and client meetings.
Performance & Reporting
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline management, and forecasting within CRM systems.
  • Track key performance metrics related to business development and revenue growth.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in staffing, recruiting, executive search, or B2B sales.
  • Proven success developing new business and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience within technology, engineering, manufacturing, industrial, or professional services staffing preferred.
  • Strong consultative sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong self-motivation and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with recruiting and leadership teams.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools.
Preferred Experience
  • Direct hire, contract staffing, contract-to-hire, or retained search experience.
  • Existing network within manufacturing, engineering, or technology organizations.
  • Experience selling into mid-market and enterprise-level accounts.
  • Familiarity with MSP/VMS environments and workforce management solutions.
