Description

WHO WE ARE

Join the Equiliem Team and Unleash Your Potential!

At Equiliem, we are more than a national recruiting firm—we are an award-winning organization continuing to grow our Precision staffing practice.

We are looking for an experienced Staffing Sales Executive who understands how to hunt, win, and grow new business within an agency staffing environment.

This is a staffing agency sales position. Previous B2B staffing sales/business development experience is required. Candidates whose sales experience is exclusively outside of the staffing industry will not be a fit for this opportunity. Experience selling skilled labor, manufacturing, engineering, technical, or industrial staffing solutions is highly preferred.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Sales Executive with Equiliem's Precision Team, you will be responsible for generating net-new staffing business and developing your own book of business across mid-market and enterprise clients.

This is a true hunter role.

We are looking for someone who already understands the staffing sales cycle and is comfortable prospecting into new accounts, cold calling and conducting outbound outreach, identifying hiring needs, building relationships with decision-makers, negotiating staffing agreements, closing business, and partnering with recruiting teams to successfully deliver talent.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of B2B staffing agency sales experience and a proven track record of bringing in new staffing clients and growing accounts.

You will have the autonomy to develop your territory, build your pipeline, and directly impact the continued growth of Equiliem's Precision staffing division.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

New Business Development

  • Identify, prospect, and close net-new staffing clients.
  • Build and manage a consistent pipeline of prospective clients and new business opportunities.
  • Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and other business development strategies.
  • Identify organizations with current or upcoming contingent workforce and direct-hire needs.
  • Connect with HR leaders, Talent Acquisition leaders, operations leaders, hiring managers, project leaders, and other key decision-makers.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand workforce challenges, hiring volume, skill gaps, timelines, and current staffing partnerships.
  • Position Equiliem's staffing solutions based on each client's specific workforce needs.
  • Move opportunities through the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through signed agreement and account launch.

Staffing Solutions Sales

  • Sell temporary, contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire staffing solutions.
  • Develop business within skilled labor, manufacturing, engineering, technical, and related markets.
  • Target industries including oil & gas, low-voltage electrical, automotive, power systems, control systems, engineering services, and other skilled labor environments.
  • Sell staffing solutions supporting positions such as project managers, engineers, safety professionals, electricians, technicians, skilled trades, and other technical professionals.
  • Educate prospective clients on Equiliem's capabilities and identify opportunities to expand staffing partnerships.
  • Understand client bill rates, margins, market conditions, and workforce requirements when developing staffing solutions.

Full-Cycle Staffing Sales

  • Own the staffing sales process from prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation, close, implementation, and account growth.
  • Develop relationships with multiple stakeholders within target organizations.
  • Navigate procurement, HR, Talent Acquisition, operations, and other decision-making functions.
  • Negotiate staffing agreements and support the process of moving new clients toward implementation.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up throughout longer sales cycles.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services and increase revenue within existing accounts.

Sales Pipeline & Accountability

  • Maintain an active and healthy new-business pipeline.
  • Consistently prospect and generate new client conversations.
  • Track outreach, opportunities, client activity, and deal progression within the CRM.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and visibility into the sales pipeline.
  • Work toward established activity, revenue, gross profit, and new-client acquisition goals.
  • Take ownership of individual production and results.
  • Use market intelligence and sales activity to continuously adjust your business development strategy.

Sales & Recruiting Partnership

  • Partner closely with Equiliem's recruiting teams once new business is secured.
  • Clearly communicate client requirements, priorities, expectations, and hiring needs.
  • Work collaboratively with recruiters to ensure strong delivery against new and existing accounts.
  • Maintain communication with clients throughout the fulfillment process.
  • Use client feedback to strengthen delivery and identify additional business opportunities.
  • Create strong alignment between sales and recruiting to drive placements, revenue, and long-term client relationships.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales/business development experience within a staffing agency.
  • Demonstrated success generating net-new staffing business.
  • Proven experience operating in a hunter/new-business-development role.
  • Experience selling temporary, contract, contract-to-hire, and/or direct-hire staffing solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, cold call, conduct outbound outreach, and develop new client relationships.
  • Experience managing the full staffing sales cycle from prospecting through close.
  • Experience building and maintaining a sales pipeline.
  • Proven ability to work toward revenue, gross profit, activity, and new-business goals.
  • Experience selling directly to HR, Talent Acquisition, operations, hiring managers, and other organizational decision-makers.
  • Strong understanding of how sales and recruiting teams work together within a staffing agency.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.
  • Experience working within a CRM and maintaining accurate sales activity.
  • Strong communication, organization, follow-through, and sense of urgency.

Please note: General B2B sales experience without staffing agency sales experience does not meet the experience requirements for this position.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Skilled labor staffing sales.
  • Manufacturing or industrial staffing sales.
  • Engineering or technical staffing sales.
  • Experience selling into oil & gas, automotive, low-voltage electrical, power systems, control systems, engineering services, or related industries.
  • Experience selling staffing solutions to mid-market and enterprise organizations.
  • Established network of prospective staffing clients and industry relationships.
  • Experience developing a staffing territory or book of business from the ground up.
  • Experience expanding existing staffing accounts through cross-selling and relationship development.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

New Client Acquisition: You consistently identify, engage, and close new staffing clients rather than relying solely on existing accounts or inbound leads.

Pipeline Development: You maintain a healthy pipeline through disciplined prospecting, cold outreach, networking, referrals, and relationship development.

Revenue Impact: Your new business directly contributes to revenue, gross profit, placements, and the continued growth of Equiliem's Precision Team.

Client Relationships: You develop strong relationships with decision-makers and become a trusted workforce partner rather than simply another staffing vendor.

Sales & Recruiting Partnership: You understand that closing the client is only the beginning. You partner closely with recruiting to ensure we can deliver against the business you bring in and create long-term, successful accounts.

Account Growth: You continue developing relationships after the initial win, identify additional hiring needs, and expand Equiliem's footprint within your accounts.
