Job Summary
A growing industrial maintenance company is seeking a Sales Engineer to support its bidding, estimating, and sales operations. This role combines engineering, customer relationship management, and sales, with responsibilities including preparing bids, developing quotes, creating CAD drawings, and conducting client site visits. The position is based in Trenton, NJ, with occasional out-of-town travel required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare bids, estimates, quotes, CAD drawings, and technical submittals.
- Manage inbound and outbound sales calls and develop customer relationships.
- Conduct client site visits to assess project requirements and support sales opportunities.
- Provide technical support related to mechanical maintenance, pumps, motors, gearboxes, welding, and rigging.
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams to develop project proposals and secure new business.
- Travel to customer sites as needed, including overnight and out-of-state travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
- Willingness to work in a hands-on industrial maintenance environment.
- Ability to commute to Trenton, NJ.
- Sales or mechanical engineering experience strongly preferred
