Sales Engineer - HVAC Equipment (Coils and Heat Transfer) - Base Salary to 110k/year - Glen Mills, PA

• Our client, a well-established manufacturer of engineered HVAC components and replacement equipment, is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their technical quoting team. This is a fully office-based role supporting contractors, engineers, and building owners with replacement equipment selection and pricing. This position focuses on reviewing incoming requests, interpreting mechanical documentation, and generating accurate quotes for engineered-to-order HVAC products. The role will manage a consistent volume of quote requests and interact directly with customers to clarify specifications and deliver solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Review customer requests for quotes (RFQs), specifications, drawings, and equipment schedules to determine replacement HVAC equipment requirements
• Generate accurate quotes for engineered-to-order HVAC components, including coils, heat exchangers, and related equipment
• Produce and deliver multiple quotes per week across varying levels of complexity
• Analyze mechanical drawings and specifications to ensure proper equipment selection and performance requirements
• Communicate with contractors, engineers, and building owners to clarify technical requirements and provide equipment recommendations
• Evaluate application conditions (e.g., building environment, system requirements) to support proper solution selection
• Utilize internal quoting tools and systems to improve speed and accuracy
• Manage assigned workload independently after initial training

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience quoting or supporting engineered-to-order mechanical or industrial products
• Relevant backgrounds may include HVAC equipment, heat exchangers, coils, sheet metal products, pressure vessels, or similar
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and equipment schedules
• Experience generating quotes for custom or configurable equipment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Ability to work on-site in Southeastern Pennsylvania

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 90k - 110k/year range
