Sales Engineer

Sales Engineer/Account Manager with sheet-metal industry experience who can manage customer accounts, develop new business, and work with engineers and internal manufacturing teams. They don't need to be a longtime Sales Engineer — the company is focused on finding the right person with relevant industry knowledge and the ability to grow into the role.

 I do not have a job description yet they are still working on it- this is a newly created position. Below are my notes on what they are looking for: 
Sales Engineer
What they’re looking for:
Sales Engineer/Account Manager with sheet-metal industry experience who can manage customer accounts, develop new business, and work with engineers and internal manufacturing teams.
What they’ll do:

• Manage existing accounts and develop new business
• Spend time in the office and in the field with customers
• Work with OEM customers and engineers
• Understand sheet-metal manufacturing capabilities, including CNC machining and electronic enclosures
• Use CRM/software such as HubSpot and SalesIntel
• Work with internal engineering/manufacturing teams to determine solutions for customers

Ideal background:

• Sheet-metal industry experience is key
• Commercial/industrial sheet-metal experience
• Sales, account management, estimating, applications, or project experience
• Comfortable working with engineers and customers
• OEM experience is a plus

Compensation: around $100K.
