Director of Sales

Schedule: Full-Time | Some Evenings/Weekends as Needed

Are you a results-driven hotel sales leader ready to take ownership of a property’s revenue strategy?

We’re looking for a Director of Sales to lead and execute sales initiatives that drive occupancy, grow market share, and maximize revenue across group, corporate, and event segments.

At Holiday Inn, part of the globally recognized IHG Hotels & Resorts family, you’ll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on hotel performance while building strong client relationships and leading a dynamic sales effort.

What You’ll Do:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive occupancy and ADR.
  • Generate group, corporate, and event business.
  • Build relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and local partners.
  • Conduct sales calls, site tours, and presentations.
  • Negotiate contracts and close new business.
  • Manage and grow the sales pipeline and prospecting efforts.
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure successful event execution.
  • Partner with leadership on pricing strategy and revenue optimization.
  • Represent the hotel in the local business and hospitality community.

What We’re Looking For:
  • 3–5+ years of hotel sales experience.
  • Proven success in group sales, corporate accounts, and events.
  • Strong understanding of hotel revenue drivers (Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR).
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems and hotel sales tools, Delphi Experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly organized.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership.
  • Open availability including weekends to oversee events.
