A fast-growing company specializing in warehouse storage systems is seeking a Sales Director to drive new business and revenue growth. The ideal candidate is an experienced sales leader with a strong industry network. Working cross-functionally, the new leader will drive rapid growth by leveraging existing relationships and building a robust sales pipeline while closing high-value deals and aligning solutions with customer needs.

Salary + Additional Benefits

Location: Houston, TX
Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities: 
  • Drive new business development and manage the full sales cycle 
  • Identify, qualify, and close opportunities within the industrial, warehousing, and logistics sectors
  • Leverage existing customer network to generate leads and build a robust pipeline
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver proposals, technical presentations, and competitive positioning
  • Provide market intelligence on competitors and customer trends 

Requirements:
  • 10+ years in B2B industrial sales
  • Proven experience selling shuttle cars, automated storage systems, or related warehouse automation equipment. 
  • Strong existing customer relationships 
  • Proven success and track record of closing deals 
  • Familiar with the full sales cycle (prospecting to closing)
  • Solution selling capability
  • Industry Background: Warehouse Automation / ASRS / Shuttle / Conveyor / WMS Cold Storage / Industrial Warehouse / Design-Build / General Contractor (GC) Material Handling Industry
  • Business Development – Cold calling, reaching C-level executives
  • Network Conversion – Turning relationships into projects
  • Business Acumen – Understanding ROI, cost structures, density
  • Self-motivation – Able to build pipeline from scratch with minimal resources
  • Comfortable with a "startup" environment in the U.S.
  • $300K+ project experience
  • Owns customer relationships
