Sales Director

NextStep Recruiting is partnering with a confidential manufacturing company to identify a Sales Director for its Fort Worth office. This is a hands-on business development role focused on generating new revenue, building a strong sales pipeline, and developing long-term customer relationships. The ideal candidate is a true hunter with manufacturing industry experience who is comfortable prospecting, cold calling, meeting with customers in person, and owning the sales process from initial outreach through close.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new business through cold calling, outreach, networking, and in-person customer meetings
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective customers to consistently achieve sales goals
• Develop tailored sales strategies based on customer needs, market opportunities, and business objectives
• Build long-term customer relationships and serve as a trusted resource throughout the sales process

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience within the manufacturing industry
• Strong hunter mentality with demonstrated success in cold calling, prospecting, and new business generation
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
