    Description

    Sales Director – East

    We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead the Eastern U.S. region. This individual will be responsible for driving regional sales performance, developing and coaching the sales team, managing key strategic accounts, and executing initiatives that support continued growth.

    The ideal candidate will have several years of sales management experience within the dental industry, along with direct dental implant experience. Candidates located in the Northeast are strongly preferred.

    This is a highly visible leadership position that will work closely with the VP of Sales and National Sales Director.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead, coach, and support Regional Managers throughout the assigned Eastern U.S. territory to achieve and exceed sales objectives.
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for strategic account management across key accounts within the region.
    • Partner closely with the VP of Sales and National Sales Director to monitor regional performance and drive progress toward monthly and annual sales goals.
    • Analyze territory and individual representative performance to identify opportunities for growth and areas requiring additional support.
    • Conduct weekly leadership meetings to review representative performance, KPIs, pipeline activity, and overall regional performance.
    • Conduct monthly business reviews with Regional Managers to identify opportunities to recover lost business and grow underperforming accounts.
    • Work with Regional Managers on effective territory management, including scheduling, pipeline development, sales funnel management, and geographic coverage.
    • Coordinate and support co-travel with Regional Managers to increase field effectiveness, provide coaching, and accelerate sales opportunities.
    • Develop and implement effective regional sales strategies designed to achieve company revenue goals.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, clinicians, strategic accounts, and industry partners.
    • Identify opportunities for account expansion through upselling, cross-selling, and strategic initiatives.
    • Monitor performance across top regional accounts, identify trends, and proactively address declines in revenue.
    • Develop and present sales packages and pricing options while maintaining required company margins.
    • Prepare and manage pricing structures for buying groups, including Dentira, Method, and other strategic partners.
    • Ensure customer concerns and issues are resolved efficiently and professionally.
    • Drive CRM adoption and data integrity by holding Regional Managers accountable for consistent and timely utilization.
    • Support company initiatives related to continuing education programs, trade shows, DSOs, dealer partnerships, and other sales activities.
    • Partner with Accounting to manage regional expenses, reporting, and sales-related activities.
    • Assist with Canadian sales initiatives as needed.
    • Report directly to the VP of Sales while working closely with the National Sales Director.

    Qualifications

    • Dental implant experience required
    • Previous sales management/leadership experience required
    • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals
    • Experience coaching, developing, and managing sales representatives
    • Strong understanding of territory management, pipeline development, and sales forecasting
    • Ability to travel approximately 60%
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
    • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
    • Demonstrated negotiation and strategic account management abilities
    • Experience interviewing, hiring, and developing sales talent
    • Strong clinical/product knowledge within the dental implant market preferred

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Base Salary: $125,000
    • Bonus based on total regional revenue
