About This Role

The Sales Development Representative plays a key role in driving revenue growth through lead generation, account research, targeted outreach, client engagement, and sales support. This role partners closely with the sales team to create more client-facing time, strengthen pipeline activity, expand customer relationships, and convert market opportunities into qualified business conversations.

Base Pay Range: $70,000 - $90,000

Other Compensation: Incentive Compensation

What You Will Work On

  • Generate and qualify new sales opportunities through account research, lead generation, outbound outreach, call campaigns, and follow-up with existing and prospective customers.
  • Schedule qualified client meetings and prepare account insights, background research, and business development materials that support effective sales conversations.
  • Manage a high-volume pipeline of inbound and outbound customer interactions across phone, email, web inquiries, and sales campaigns.
  • Support outside sales teams and account leaders with quote preparation, order follow-up, CRM updates, campaign tracking, pipeline visibility, and timely customer response.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, prospects, internal partners, and sales stakeholders to drive repeat business and improve engagement quality.
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and new business opportunities during customer conversations and route qualified opportunities appropriately.
  • Track activity, maintain accurate customer and opportunity data, and meet daily and weekly performance metrics in a fast-paced sales environment.

What You Will Bring

  • 2-3 years of inside sales, business development, recruiting, sales support, or account management is required.
  • Strong communication skills, professional phone presence, and the confidence to engage prospects, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • A competitive, goal-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset with motivation tied to activity, performance, earnings, and career growth.
  • Ability to research accounts, identify business insights, manage follow-up, and translate information into actionable sales opportunities.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, follow-through, data accuracy, and ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment.
  • Comfort using Salesforce or similar CRM tools, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office, and sales enablement resources to support outreach, reporting, and account planning.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, accountability, emotional intelligence, and a collaborative, team-first approach.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
