We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. This is a high-activity, phone-based role focused on outbound prospecting, lead generation, and setting qualified appointments for our licensed sales agents. Think of this as a professional telemarketing / inside sales development position with strong earning potential. You will be the engine that fills our pipeline with motivated prospects using proven scripts, processes, and techniques.


Salary Range: $25000.00 - $65000.00 per year

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume cold calling, prospecting, and follow-up via phone, email, and text to generate new leads.
  • Qualify prospects and set high-quality appointments for our sales team using structured Insurance Sales Lab playbooks.
  • Utilize CRM software (Salesforce or equivalent) to track all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline movement.
  • Execute daily territory and lead lists for consistent outreach and pipeline building.
  • Deliver professional product overviews and build interest in our insurance solutions (auto, home, life, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth handoff of qualified appointments.
  • Maintain strong customer service standards while handling objections and providing excellent first impressions.
  • Hit daily/weekly activity targets (calls, conversations, appointments) to drive agency growth.
  • Provide feedback on lead quality and market insights to help refine our prospecting approach.



Requirements
  • Experience with cold calling, outbound prospecting, or inside/telemarketing sales (insurance experience is a plus, but not required we provide full training).
  • Strong communication skills and resilience on the phones.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce is preferred.
  • Results-oriented with a competitive drive to hit targets and earn uncapped income.
  • Coachable, positive attitude, and excellent customer service mindset.
  • Ability to work in a structured, high-activity environment.
  • Willing to obtain insurance licenses (we support this).
