As part of our Sales Development Program, you'll use your engineering mindset to connect cutting-edge technology with real customer needs, helping industries save energy and optimize performance every day.

This program is your launchpad into a global career where technology meets business. You'll gain hands-on experience across sales development, account management, and commercial operations; developing the skills, confidence, and network to become one of Danfoss' potential future sales leaders. Have the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of verticals from Data Center applications through heavy industrial solutions.

The first rotation will be at our US Drives HQ in Loves Park, Illinois!

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop a strong foundation in sales strategy, our technology and programs though our Sales rotational program across various disciplines such as DLS, Inside Sales, Account Management and more.

• Support customers by working with leaders to understand their needs and create tailored Danfoss solutions that deliver measurable value.

• Develop and execute account strategies, working alongside experienced sales teams to win new opportunities and strengthen partnerships.

• Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and support business decisions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams-from engineering to marketing-to turn technical expertise into commercial success.

• Grow your leadership and communication skills through structured workshops, mentoring, and feedback-driven learning experiences.

What We're Looking For

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related field).

• A growth mindset-you're curious, adaptable, and see challenges as opportunities to learn.

• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence others.

• A genuine interest in sales, technology, and sustainable innovation. Previous experience in industrial sales, automation controls, or engineering firms preferred

• Willingness to travel and/or relocate during program rotations as you grow your career.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000- $85,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. You'll receive benefits like 401(K) access, annual bonus, paid vacation, insurance, and more. These vary by country and contract, but they're worth asking about, we think they're pretty great.
