Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales & Design Specialist / Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail sales, distribution, or customer service and possess strong communication and organizational skills. This role involves assisting customers, generating sales, providing design recommendations, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with product selection and provide professional recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service.
  • Prepare quotes, process orders, and follow up on customer inquiries.
  • Support showroom and sales operations while maintaining a professional appearance.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and customer expectations.
  • Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Handle customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and sales activities.
  • Provide design assistance for kitchen cabinetry, flooring, and related products when applicable.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in retail sales, distribution sales, or customer service preferred.
  • Experience in kitchen cabinet sales or design, including knowledge of 20/20 Design software, is a plus.
  • Flooring sales or flooring customer service experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
