Position: Sales/ Design Consultant

We specialize in high-quality residential and light commercial flooring solutions, including hardwood, carpet, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), tile, laminate, and more. We’re seeking a vibrant, energetic Sales/Design Consultant who enjoys working directly with customers, presenting products, offering design insight while walking them through the selection of product and sale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences in flooring materials.
- Provide personalized consultations and design recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Showcase products effectively through demonstrations, samples, and in-store displays.
- Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and product offerings to better assist clients.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive and supportive work environment.
- Manage customer orders and follow up to ensure timely delivery and installation.
- Participate in community events and company initiatives to promote brand awareness and foster
community relationships.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably in the home décor or flooring industry.
- Strong design and aesthetic sense with the ability to visualize and suggest solutions effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good computer skills. We use QFloors and Measure Square, and will train.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including availability on weekends.
- A self-motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work 5 day work week, Showroom is open: M-F, 9-:5:30, Saturday, 10-5:00, Closed Sunday
- Able to measure in customers' homes and provide an accurate quote. We do have a measuring team to help so you ~
