As an Area Sales Coordinator, you will support the sales team by managing leads, proposals, and group bookings while ensuring seamless communication between clients and hotel operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Partnering with clients as the point of contact for questions, requests, booking and confirmation information, etc.
  • Maintaining organization of office files and entries
  • Communicating interdepartmentally to ensure details of group and corporate directives are executed properly
  • Preparing sales-related reports, Resumes, and Banquet Event Orders
  • Retrieving a complete understanding of the customer’s business needs to best meet the expectations of the client
  • Performing hotel site tours with potential clients
  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous sales, administrative, or customer service experience required
  • Experience working with Opera, Delphi, and Hyatt systems a plus
  • Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel proficiency required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication required
  • Previous hotel experience or Bachelor’s degree in related field strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills required
  • Excellent judgment/decision making and time management skills preferred
  • Energetic team player, with a desire to grow within hospitality sales
