Job Summary
As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding the customer base through strategic selling and relationship management. You will play a key role in developing sales strategies, maintaining excellent communication with internal and external partners, and continuously identifying ways to improve business and organizational processes.
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Provide outstanding customer service to all clients
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through meetings, education, and follow-up
Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services
Present product samples, mock-ups, and detailed product information
Schedule and manage customer appointments around client availability
Negotiate and renew contracts with current and previous customers
Attend conventions, trade shows, and industry events to promote products and services
Meet and exceed monthly sales goals
Generate and submit accurate sales reports to management
Mine, track, and follow up on all potential leads
Develop sales strategies to drive repeat business and acquire new customers
Maintain proficiency in Word, Excel, and HubSpot
Requirements (include but are not limited to):
Outstanding customer service and negotiation skills
Excellent, professional verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated with a competitive, results-driven mindset
Strong decision-making skills with speed and accuracy
Enthusiasm for sales and consistently meeting or exceeding goals
Experience in the packaging industry is a plus
College degree or equivalent experience (2+ years in sales or sales management)
Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively
Ability to quickly learn and retain product knowledge
Availability to work onsite Monday through Friday in an office environment
